Personal Reflection

Following God’s Path

Hello Blog Readers!

I have missed talking with you. I took a few months off but am now ready to get back to sharing my thoughts, views of the world, and God’s Word with you.

I do have good news! My fiction book, Evangeline, which came out last August and that I shared with you, won the AWSA Golden Scroll award, first place for romance! I’m so humbled and thankful to the Lord for this honor.

I had been reading the book of Esther and a thought came to me: “Why not take this story and the outline of Esther’s story and move it to another time in history?” Please know, I did not add or detract from the Biblical story – just took the idea to the 1960’s and the civil rights movement. Much to my astonishment, a publisher picked it up and then it won an award.

Please know that that is nothing but a miracle! An author never knows if his time and effort will ever culminate in a finished product which makes being an author hard! But I also know God will make a project work if He wants it to work. So, I walk in trust.

And that’s like our life, isn’t it? We can only trust Him. Obey Him. And walk in the path He has given us. Then, He will make our way a success – to bring Him glory!

God bless you!
