Can You Get Organized for Christmas?

12 Steps - Holiday - by Lane JordanPlease see a special free offer at the end of the blog!

As I write this, Christmas is a mere 20 days away.  Most of the women I have been talking to haven’t even finished their shopping much less wrapped their presents.  They are stressed, hurried and frustrated!

I wanted to give them a big hug and to say, “I know how you feel.”  It is so easy for Christmas to overwhelm us!

So what’s the answer? Let’s look at the Action Plan.

Action Plan

I really believe that the first step of action is to take the time to plan what you have to do and when you will do it.  Paper, pen and your calendar is all you need to do this.

Next, resolve that you can’t do everything.  So start asking your family (and yourself) what is their favorite things to do?  What traditions and memories do all of you want to have at Christmas?  When you know these, you won’t have to try and do everything.

Then, start delegating.  You can’t do everything especially if you work.  Ask your family members to help you from addressing Christmas cards to helping decorate the house to helping with the meals.

Make sure you take time during this season for others:  your neighbors, your friends, the needy and yourself.  Yes, you need to take care of yourself so you can give a happy person to your family!

And make sure you take time for the Guest of Honor.  Jesus is the reason for the season.  He is why we “ring the bells” at Christmas!

I would like to give away my book, “12 Steps to Having a More Organized Christmas and Holiday Season” to those of you who would like to read it and commit to writing an online review.
